HCI Rebar Rock Bolt is manufactured from hot rolled reinforcing bar with a standard thread formed at one end and slashed head on the other end. It can be used with only mortar or with both mortar and accelerator to provide a stable ground support.

The mortar can be injected before or after the Rock Bolt installed into the pre-drilled borehole.
When the accelerator is used with the mortar, the Rock Bolt needs to be inserted after the accelerator and mortar. The installation sequence is mortar, accelerator packed in tube, mortar, then inserting the Rock Bolt. The Rock Bolt will break the accelerator tube which allows the accelerator to mix with themortar and accelerate the harden speed of the mortar.
